What We’ve Been Up To: A Mid-Year Look at Velia’s Progress
It’s been a little quiet on our end — but that quiet has been powerful.
The first half of 2025 has been a season of rebuilding, refining, and laying stronger foundations at Velia’s Virtual Solutions. We've updated our systems, refreshed our services, and reimagined how we support small business owners with a stronger strategy. We also completed a rebrand that included a new logo, color palette switch, full website refresh, began publishing valuable blog content, and updated our onboarding tools and systems to better serve our clients.

Velia’s was proudly selected to participate in the SHEBA Spring Cohort — an incredible accelerator for women entrepreneurs that helped us refine our business model, prepare for funding, and sharpen our long-term strategy.







Refining the Vision: My SHEBA Experience
One of the most transformational parts of this year has been participating in SHEBA. It was more than just an accelerator program—it became a catalyst for realignment and clarity. Through pitch practice, market analysis, financial forecasting, and weekly accountability, I was pushed to examine every part of Velia’s—from how we show up for clients to how we communicate our value.
SHEBA challenged me to stop playing small. I walked in with a business model that was functional, but I walked out with a clearer, stronger, and more scalable strategy. I honed in on what makes Velia’s different—our ability to blend tech-forward solutions with human-centered support. We’re not just offering services; we’re building systems that help small business owners thrive without burning out.
Some of my biggest takeaways?
Systems > Stress. Investing in tools like ClickUp, QuickBooks, and Asana isn’t just smart—it’s essential.
Don’t wait to be ready—just start. Perfect doesn’t get results, action does.
Numbers matter. Financial literacy is power, and forecasting gave me the confidence to dream bigger.
